Misr El Kheir Foundation, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, offers participation in the diploma as a full scholarship for workers in civil society organizations, and it is launched annually as an educational scholarship without the student bearing any fees. In accordance with the conditions and standards of the Misr El Kheir Foundation, the number of scholarships provided reached 39 students in the current 2023/2024 batch

Dr. Marwa Beltagy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science for Postgraduate Studies, said that the importance of diploma work is that it provides the opportunity for workers in the state and organizations to apply the scientific rules applied in the world, which It was supported by the Misr Al-Khair Foundation.

For her part, Dr. Noura Obaid, Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, confirmed that the graduation of two batches of the Diploma in Development and Management of Financial Resources for NGOs is a dream come true for the sake of higher application. Scientific systems applied in countries of the world in developing and managing institutional resources.

In this context, Dr. Mohamed Rifai, CEO of the Misr El Kheir Foundation, said that the Foundation’s interest in human development comes as a reason for the developmental role that the Misr El Kheir Foundation achieves in society, noting Due to the Foundation’s interest in cooperating with scientific academies in launching specialized, professional diplomas in various fields of NGO work, including this diploma, which aims to qualify workers in NGOs in Egypt in the field of resource development.

Regarding the role of the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Work, Dr. Muhammad Rifai explained that it is a vital and effective role to develop minds to interact in creating a self that can manage civil society effectively and powerfully. Stressing that the role of the Misr El Kheir Foundation will not end when students graduate from the diploma, but rather extends to helping students implement their ideas for projects.

Dr. Muhammad Rifai added that the Misr Al Khair Foundation is interested in expanding the work of the Arab Center for Sustaining Civil Work, not only at the Egyptian level, but also at the Arab level, through 4 specialized units. Each of them is technical in its field, and all of these units are interconnected, so that they can contribute to improving the work environment of civil society organizations.

While Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, head of the NGO Development Program at the Misr El Kheir Foundation, said that one of the activities of the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Work is to contribute to increasing the effectiveness of NGOs and the movement Volunteering in Egypt, pointing out that resource development is considered the backbone of civil society organizations, and without resources, this poses a real threat to the sustainability of the organizations’ work, which prompted the Misr El Kheir Foundation to create a special diploma with the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, to qualify Workers in civil society organizations in the field of resource development.

Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh noted that the importance of the diploma lies in the creation and existence of a strong and effective civil society, in order to sustain civil work, explaining that the Misr El Kheir Foundation is in the direction of converting the diploma Development and Management of Financial Resources to Master's degree soon.
